It designed to take the discharge air from the unit and expel it into a separate space. Ideally, the ceiling kit is used with drop ceilings. The ceiling kit replacement panel is not limited to ceiling use and may be placed or fastened to any vertical or horizontal surface, providing the discharge is able to be directed to a separate space away from the room being cleaned.
